Hello,
I wanted to write to you about my current concern with ***** behavior in class today. Refusal to participate again in the group activity. And when called down to the office ***** became very angry and violently slammed their belongings down on a desk and shouted at me about early dismissal.
When ***** came back into my room to grab their belongings I attempted to restore with ***** and instead was met with talking back, interrupting me, and a refusal to discuss what happened and how we can go about repairing what happened.
It's clear it's been a struggle with ***** recently. I am getting concerned with ***** wanting to do whatever they want to do whenever they want to, and if I try to keep order in my classroom a tantrum is sure to ensue. I don't want a power struggle with *****, currently there are measures in place when they want to take a break and yet it seems with me ***** does not want to use them and instead we have these issues.
Thank you for hearing my concerns,
Sincerely,
--
